What does the interview process look like?
An interview is a two-way street. You should evaluate Fyle and the team as much as we evaluate you. That means you should come prepared for every call. You should’ve read the above links and have a set of questions for each person you speak with.
If you're shortlisted based on your past experience, you'll receive a take-home assignment via email. We value your time, so the task is designed to take no more than 3–4 hours. This helps us assess your problem-solving approach and ensure you have the right skills for the role
If your assignment meets our internal standards, then your initial conversation will be with Yitzhak (https://www.linkedin.com/in/yitzhak-a-b4427a1a3/) from our People Success team, who will do an initial discovery call & guide you throughout the interview process.
Next, you'll speak to one of our Account Executives, Sumit (https://www.linkedin.com/in/sumitiwari/) and discuss your assignment, past experiences & motivations. A casual but insightful chat—we want to know you, not just your resume
Next, you'll speak with Mohammed Nihas, Associate Director of Sales (https://www.linkedin.com/in/mohammed-nihas-44b4951aa) Mohammed Nihas will assess your sales strategies through a Mock Call Challenge, testing your handling of objections, negotiations, and conversions. Be prepared for real-world scenarios—knowing Fyle inside out is key
Next, you’ll speak with Yash (https://www.linkedin.com/in/yashwanthm/), our CEO and Co-founder. Expect a lot of probing questions about how you would handle challenging situations. You should also use this opportunity to learn what working at Fyle is like.
If all goes well, you’ll speak to Shruti (https://www.linkedin.com/in/shruti-arcot-kesavan-89590376/). This discussion will be a deep dive into your perspectives and culture evaluation.
Finally, you'll need to provide 2 references from people you've worked with. It would be a huge plus if you could give your current or ex-managers references.
If everything goes well, we make the offer.
